Trial Launch of Our New Booking App – SMILERIDE
Dear Valued Partners,
We are excited to introduce our brand-new SMILERIDE APP, set for a trial launch on 3 March 2025. This app is currently available for Trans-cab Taxi Drivers and Trans Leasing PHC Drivers. At present, the SMILERIDE app is available for Android devices; the iOS version will be released in 4 to 6 weeks. We are targeting an islandwide rollout by May 2025.
It is a modern and efficient booking platform designed to enhance your driving experience and increase ride opportunities. With this app, you can now receive ride requests seamlessly and manage your bookings more efficiently!

Trans-cab Taxi Driver call levy for metered trip $0.50
We would like to inform you that our apps currently accept cash payments only. However, we are excited to announce that cashless transactions will be available soon! We are in the final stages of implementation and expect this feature to be ready within the next 4 to 6 weeks. In the meantime, please note that call levy charges will be deducted daily through your existing GIRO.

How to Use the App:
- Download SmileRide Driver app from the Google Play Store.
- Sign up and complete your driver profile.
Login in will be your mobile number and password will be your MDT login in number - Start receiving ride requests in real-time.
- Accept bookings and follow the in-app navigation to the pickup location.
- Complete the ride and receive secure payment.
- Track your earnings and ride history with ease.
