 With effective from 1 January 2025, the Land Transport Authority (LTA) will implement revised taxi rooftop status policies. 
Please refer to the changes as below.

Booking from other ride-hailing flat fare trips	1. Do not start taximeter.
	2. Drivers to turn on the "BUSY" status when passenger on board.
Booking from private trips conveying non-paying passengers. (Eg. Family Members, Friends)	1. Do not start taximeter.
	2. Drivers to turn on the "BUSY" status.
